Thank you for your interest in joining our team! We're recruiting Photographers, Videographers, DJ's and Officiants. Limelight weddings is an award winning team of wedding pros who love what they do! We are NOT a franchise just a team of creatives who care about the details that go into every wedding. We primarily service the mid-Michigan and surrounding areas but we do also service the entire state of MI. We handle all of the bookings, marketing, client communication and editing. You'll do the fun and creative part: taking great pictures, video and playing music etc!
Lead Associate Photographers & Videographers

Do I need to cull or edit?
Nope! All you need to do is upload the RAW images or unedited video footage.
How does payment work?
After uploading your files, we'll process your payment via direct deposit into your bank account weekly!
How does the assignment process work?
You’ll maintain an online calendar showing your availability. We’ll rely on your calendar to book weddings. Once we’ve booked a wedding for you, you’ll be notified via email and SMS about the assignment.
For dates you don't request off it means you've marked yourself as "available". This means you are 100% available, and asking us to book a job for you.
Can I change my calendar?
Yes, you can change your availability calendar at any time — provided you don’t already have an assigned wedding.
Can I change my mind after getting an assignment?
No. Keep in mind, we’ll only assign weddings on the dates you mark yourself as available. If you mark yourself as unavailable, you won’t receive any assignments. You’ll need to contractually agree to photograph all the weddings you are assigned. If you cancel, or don’t show up, you are responsible financially. We take commitments extremely seriously. If you aren’t sure you want to photograph a wedding on a certain date, you should mark yourself as unavailable for that date.
What if I decide to take a vacation, or receive an inquiry for my own business?
We take commitments extremely seriously. Once you've marked yourself as available and received an assignment, you are obligated to photograph or film that wedding.
You'll receive assignments for dates you haven't requested off.
What if I’m late to a wedding?
Short of an emergency, there is no excuse for being late to a wedding. Our clients hire us because we are reliable. Traffic might be awful. There could be a road detour. Your GPS could send you down the wrong road. Our clients expect us to plan ahead.
What equipment is required?
Lead photographers are required to have 2 full-frame camera bodies. Videographers must have 2 cameras and wireless microphones.
Can I promote my own business name?
No. You represent Limelight Entertainment & Photography. You cannot promote your own business for any reason.
Photography/Videography Training & Workshops
We love helping our photographers and videographers learn and grow to become the best at what they do. Our lead wedding photographers and videographers are certified. This means they've proven their ability to capture gorgeous images and video in a style consistent with the Limelight brand.
We have workshops frequently to help onboard our new team members and refresh the skills of our veteran team members. In our workshops you'll receive in person and hands on training to learn new techniques and understand specific methods we use to make shooting a wedding with us consistent, streamlined and fun!
